“I’m Adopted”

Harley is a three-year old dark bay boy. He has been gelded, vaccinated, wolf teeth removed and is progressing well in his gentling process. Harley is halter broke, leads well and he goes into his stall every day to be brushed and touched getting him used to human contact. He is ready for a new home.

I’m Adopted

This is Hawkeye, also three years old. He is very new to us right now and it will be little bit of time before he will be available to go to a new forever home. As soon as he becomes adjusted to his new surroundings, we will begin his gentling which includes haltering and eventually getting him gelded. As you can see he is very muscular buckskin.

I’m Adopted

This is Hoss a four-year old boy. He has been gelded, vaccinated and we have worked with him for several months. He is ready to go to a new home where his training can continue. Such a stunning boy with excellent confirmation.

I’m Adopted Too

This beautiful sorrel with flaxen mane and tail is only a two-year old boy. We’ve named him Hunter. He is now haltered, gelded, vaccinated and is progressing well in his gentling process. He is a beauty and would make an excellent partner for someone who would like to adopt him.

If you are interested in any of these boys, you can find an adoption application form at the top of the page. We also encourage all potential adopters to make arrangements to come and visit to see if the horse you are interested in is the right one for you. Please contact us at WHOASalberta@gmail.com to arrange a time for a visit. Our adoption fee is $500 which helps us pay for feed, veterinary care and utilities to run our facility.

If you are unable to adopt a horse, you can help WHOAS by donating to help us cover the costs of taking care of these wonderful horses. Click on our donation button or you can send a cheque to WHOAS, Box 4154, Olds, AB, T4H 1P7.
