Great new website look. It has been a whille since I last checked in so while the web site has a new look to me this may be old news to others. Anyway, very nice job.

Love the photographs. Thank you for your efforts in helping preserve these wonderful creatures.
I would like to come to the rescue to see the horses.
I am in Calgary and need directions how to get there.

    2. Thank you so much for your inspiring work.

Are there any opportunities at this time to assist with the care and handling of your herd, and with gentling the foals?

I recently lost my horse to colic and I am really longing for a way to be in the company of horses, to learn more about the care of wild horses as well as contribute to their welfare.

I currently live in Calgary and my time is flexible.

    To Bob, Fran & Team,

Many many thanks for taking the time to show us around and explain the history and goals of the WHOAS last Saturday. We will continue to follow your website and offer our volunteer time once Celia finishes school later this year. Your efforts are truly appreciated and, we hope, some public funding will come your way to give you the freedom to expand on your necessary work and research in the management and preservation of wild horses in Alberta.

I AM SO THANKFUL. FOR ALL THE HARD WORK THAT THE WHOAS DOES ALONG WITH THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO WORK SO HARD TO SAVE OUR WILD HORSES. THEY ARE A BEAUTIFUL SITE TO SEE THAT EVERYONE SHOULD EXPERIENCE ONCE IN A LIFETIME.
LET’S HOPE THAT 2017 WILL BE A GOOD YEAR FOR OUR WILD HORSES PRESERVATION. THAT OUR GOVT WILL UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT THEY ARE TO OUR ALBERTA HISTORY.

  5. Jan 27 2019: Good afternoon. I just sent signed up as a member & ordered a calendar. This is such important work you’re doing!!! Even though I’m a Canadian, I rescued 2 mustang mares out of the BLM in the USA who now live at the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary. So this is also for Maya & Tassy of the Black Hills. Abigail from Montreal, Canada.

I am a true avid horse loving fan. Growing up I rode horses, and competed. Loved every second of it and now as an adult I dont have time to compete anymore like I used to and I would always go to an event at spruce meadows to cure my missing love of horses. This is a true calling to heart because they deserve to have someone giving them a voice and a second chance at life. Thank you for all what you do for these majestical creatures.

I’m looking to add a colored wildie mare to my herd. Mare or or filly. Or bred mare.

I already have a 50% wildie filly I bought off of the late Rick Dibben. Rick was a huge lover of the Alberta Mustang. I never used to be but since owning our “Triss” I have really fallen in love with our Albertan mustangs. I own her and a Kiger mustang I imported 2 years ago. I want to continue in Rick’s footsteps and help save/promote our wildie’s. Love of the animals is my focus. Iso of a colored horse.

Sure was incredibly sad to read about the buckskin foal with the huge blaze. Her dam is also incredible. Red cloud is a,stunning stallion as well. Both ours are dun. Willing to purchase for equitable dollar a quality pair or single. Again I’m a big fan and want to promote our wild horses across Canada.
We have 20 acres of Albertan wild grass field with hills to raise and cherish this(these) perspective animal(s). Located near Delburne, Alberta.

I hope to hear from you. The dam to our “Triss” was from the Sundre area we believe.
